Art of the Extreme 1905-1914 and Masterpiece Art Fair 2022
A talk on the paintings and sculptures of the decade preceding World War I by art expert Philip Hook, a period he calls "quite possibly the most important in post-Renaissance art history". Philip discusses the work of, amongst others, Gauguin, Matisse, Van Gogh, Picasso, Braque and Klimt.

Age Unlimited is absolutely delighted that we have arranged a really special event in conjunction with art dealer and writer Philip Hook – who has so kindly agreed to talk about his brilliantly received book ‘ Art of the Extreme 1905-1914’ – and Masterpiece London 2022, the hugely successful art fair that takes place at The Royal Hospital, Chelsea.
Your ticket to the talk will include early admittance to the lecture hall at Masterpiece to listen to Philip’s fascinating lecture before being able to spend the day visiting the stands at Masterpiece from 11.00am.
‘The Art of the Extreme’ concentrates on the painting and sculpture of the decade before the 1st World War: Philip believes this time is ‘quite possibly the most important post Renaissance art history’.
